Deleting an animal permanently removes it from pedigrees and registration history. Only users who can manage animals can do this.
\nIf you only need to record that the animal left the herd without deleting history, use Transfer or Mark as Sold instead.
A registration is the current ownership of an animal by a membership.
Open a membership and click Animals, or open the animal from Latest Animals.

A pedigree is the sire, dam, and certificate for an animal. Set parents on Update, then generate the certificate from the animal grey bar.
Open the animal and click Update. Set sire, dam, identity, and photos.
Click Generate Certificate on the grey bar. Certificate appearance is under Settings, then Certificate Settings.
Set sire and dam on the animal, then generate the certificate.
Open the animal and click Update. Set sire, dam, identity, and photos.
Click Generate Certificate on the grey bar.
Parent search lists animals that can appear as sire or dam for that birth year.
Open the animal and click Update. Search for the parent.
If the parent is missing, click New animal on the grey bar and complete its record first.
